Project 01 / Retail & e-commerce
Pawley Works.
A fashion-led online destination created to make carefully selected second-hand menswear feel considered, current and worth discovering.

The project
Giving resale the presentation it deserves.
The brief
Pawley Works needed a digital identity capable of presenting second-hand clothing as a deliberate style choice rather than an unstructured collection of listings. The site had to establish a recognisable point of view before the first product drop, explain the proposition clearly and create a strong framework for future Stripe-powered product sales.
The approach
The design uses an editorial layout, confident scale and a focused blue accent to create the feeling of a contemporary menswear publication. Navigation is organised around the way customers actually browse clothing, while the homepage balances brand introduction, upcoming categories and anticipation for new stock. The system is designed to remain visually consistent as new products, photography and collections are introduced.
What was delivered
Design decisions
Generous spacing and large editorial typography give individual products room to feel important. The high-contrast palette creates immediate recognition, while concise calls to action move visitors between discovery, brand information and future shopping without overwhelming a pre-launch catalogue.
